National Science Foundation for Distinguished Young Scholars. Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC). Research directions are photoelectronic conversion and energy materials. Published over 350 SCI papers with a citation of 28000 times and H-factor of 92. Authorized 25 invention patents and edited 1 English book. Served as Editors and Editorial Board of several international journals including Journal of Materials Science & Technology, Science Bulletin, APL Electronic Devices, et al. Prof. Shinji Takeoka
Waseda University, Japan

Shinji Takeoka is a professor of Department of Life Science and Medical Bioscience, School of Advanced Science and Engineering, Waseda University. He received B.S. degree(1986), M.S. degree(1988) , Ph. D. degree(1991) from Waseda University, Japan. He worked as a research associate at Waseda University School of Science and Engineering from 1991. Then he worked as Visiting Fellow, U. Pennsylvania School of Medicine for 1 year from 1998 to 1999. In 2005, he was promoted as professor of Waseda University. Prof. Shinji Takeoka is the Associate Director of Research Promotion Division, Waseda University. He is also the President of The Society of Blood Substitutes, Japan. His research interests include biomedical Engineering, biological material sciences, molecular assembling science and engineering.

 

Prof. Yang Bai
University of Science and Technology Beijing, China

Yang Bai, Professor, Institute for Advanced Materials and Technology, University of Science and Technology Beijing, National Natural Science Foundation of China for Distinguished Young Scholars. His main research interests are materials genetic engineering, metamaterials for multiple physical fields, ferroelectric ceramics, etc. He serves as PI for 1 project from National Key Research and Development Program of China and 8 projects from National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published more than 200 SCI-indexed papers, published 5 academic monographs in English/Chinese, and obtained more than 10 national authorized patents. He won 1 first prize and 1 second prize of natural science of the Ministry of Education, and won the 13th Youth Science and Technology Award of the Chinese Ceramic Society. He is the executive director of the Chinese Society of Metamaterials, and a director of the Chinese Advanced Ceramics Society, etc. He also serves as the associate editor of Journal of Advanced Ceramics, and the editorial board of 4 English SCI journals and 2 Chinese journals.

Prof. Osamu Tabata

Kyoto University of Advanced Science, Japan

Osamu Tabata received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Nagoya Institute of Technology, Japan, in 1981 and 1993, respectively. Since April 2005, Osamu Tabata has been a Professor at Graduate School of Engineering, Kyoto University, Japan. October 2019, he moved to Kyoto University of Advanced Science as a founding Dean of New Engineering School launched in April 2020. From 2022 Dec, he is an Executive Vice President and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering. He is currently engaged in research on micro/nano processes, MEMS, DNA nanotechnology.
He is an editorial board member of the Microsystems & Nanoengineering and Journal Sensors and Actuators. From 2020, he has been serving as a chair of the Robert Bosch Award Committee for EDS. He is a Fellow of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and Institute of Electrical Engineer Japan.

Prof. Dae-Eun Kim
Yonsei University, Korea

Professor Dae-Eun Kim is currently a Full Professor at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea. Professor Kim received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT. Professor Kim served as the President of the Korean Society for Precision Engineering and the President of the Korean Tribology Society. He also served as the Editor-in-Chief of IJPEM, Senior Editor of JMST, and Associate Editor of ASME J. of Tribology. He currently serves in the editorial board of several tribology journals including Tribology Letters and Friction. Professor Kim has received many awards from various professional societies and institutions including the Ministerial Commendation from the Korea Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and the Science and Technology Pojang National Award from the Korean President. Professor Kim is a Fellow of the International Academy for Production Engineering (CIRP) and a Fellow of the Korean Academy of Science and Technology. His research interests are tribology, coatings and surface modification.

Prof. Sarawut Rimdusit
Chulalongkorn University, Thailand

Dr. Sarawut Rimdusit is a full professor of the Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand. He received his master and doctoral degrees from the Department of Macromolecular Science and Engineering, Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio, USA in 1997 and 2000, respectively. He worked as a post-doctoral fellow under a Hitachi research fellowship in 2005 and 2008 at Toyohashi University and Technology and Monbusho research fellowship in 2003 at the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA, formerly ISAS). His research is concentrated on multicomponent polymeric systems based on polybenzoxazines and some network forming polymers. His recent research focuses on the use of polybenzoxazine alloys as functional materials including shape memory materials and thermoreversible light scattering polymers. He has published 1 book on polybenzoxazine alloys and composites (Springer), 10 book chapters in English, 4 book chapters in Japanese and more than 70 international papers related to the alloys and composites of polybenzoxazines.

Prof. Jae-Jin Shim
Yeungnam University, South Korea

Prof. Jae-Jin Shim received his BS degree from Seoul National University, Korea, in 1980, his M.S. degree from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in 1982, and his Ph.D. degree from the University of Texas at Austin, USA, in 1990. He worked at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) as a research scientist (1982-1986) and as a senior research scientist (1991-1994), and at the University of California, Berkeley as a postdoctoral research associate (1990-1991). He has been a professor at Yeungnam University since 1994, served as Vice-Dean of Engineering, and has been a professor emeritus since September 2023. He also served as the President of the Korean Society of Clean Technology and the Vice President of the Korean Society of Engineering Education. He was the Director of the Institute of Clean Technology (2006-2008, 2014-2023) and the Director of the Clean Energy Priority Research Center supported by the Korean Government (2014-2023). He has written and edited 14 books, published 325 papers in peer-reviewed journals (h-index 69), and filed 40 patents. He served as the Chief Editor of CLEAN TECHNOLOGY and Editor of the Korean Journal of Chemical Engineering, and he is now a guest editor of NANOMATERIALS.
